The wind blew cold, as it rushed by. The night air was pleasant, and the snow continued to fall. In the middle of the city stood a large building. Cars rushed past, leaving a swoosh sound, and the sound of snow being driven on. The clouds were covering the stars, and the moon's light shined through the clouds.
On top of this building stood a shinigami. A shinigami who goes by the name Captain Suzuki. His eyes were bright blue with a red tint around the pupils. It is said, that in the Suzuki family, if you have that red tint, you are meant for great things. His nose it just the right size to fit his face. He's what an anime fangirl would call "Hot". Takeo wore the captain's coat, over his shinigami uniform. The coat is white, and on the back is the Japanese symbol for 8 which is the division he is captain of. His zanpakuto was sheathed behind his back. Where it sticks out about a foot over his head, and about a half a foot past his waste. The sword itself is 4 feet, not including the handle. The handle is around 2 feet. He wears a choker that has a charm dangling from it. The charm is a small dragon. It is said that the charm will bring great luck, and strength to its wearer. It's all he had after he died. So he turned it into a choker, and has been wearing it since then.
He stood on the building, with his foot resting atop the 2 and a half foot high ledge guarding the roof, which has a black metal fence on top of the ledge. He looked out into the night, watching over humanity, just to see what he is missing out on.
Across the street, you can see a guy walking by. Behind him, a tall guy with a black hoodie on. The guy in the hoodie started chasing the other guy. Once the other guy noticed it, he turned into the alley way, to attempt to hide. "Give me your wallet!" The hooded guy yelled, as you could hear him yelling from all the way on the roof. The other guy sounded as though he refused. The sound of fists hitting and yells could be heard.
"Guess I'm not missing so much..." Takeo, or Captain Suzuki sighed, as he turned away from the fence. It was pathetic how the humans acted with such greed. He wished that the worlds all had peace. But that was far out of his reach.

A shinigami, his name yuuimain. He was a Captains rank, went by Captain Stelevein, he stepped out of the senkaimon right above Captain Suzuki. Stelevein's Captain haori was flapping in the wind, his Zanpakutou sheathed at his waste. His hair was a dark brown color and his eyes were all white. This being because of his abilities, namely his Zanpakutous abilities. Because of his Zanpakutou being a light based, it turned his eyes all white, thus making it seemed as though his eyes glowed, but no one really knew why his eyes were glowing
The reason people didn't know why his eyes were glowing is because those who had seen his Zanpakutou never lived to tell of it. Stelevein wasn't rutheless, he was actually kind and caring. He never wanted to kill those people, but he had to in order to protect the people he loved and cared for. That being his squad and a few of the other Captains. He also found that himself and Captain Suzuki were awfully close. Almost like brothers. He would gladly die fighting alongside Captain Suzuki, though he knew it wouldn't be easy for anyone to kill him.
He was standing in the air looking down on Captain Suzuki. He knew the Captain had sensed when he had stepped out of the Senkaimon, he also knew that Captain Suzuki knew it was he who had stepped out. But, stelevein payed no mind to that. He stood watching the dispute between the two human, just as Captain Suzuki had done. It was a pathetic life to live as a human. It was moments like this that stelevein had been glad he died at birth, that way he never had to live amongst the humans. that way greed never consumed his soul, nor power.

The captain's eyes turned to the edge noticing the reaitsu of Captain Stelevein behind him. He had a small smirk, but still in a bad mood because of the humans. He wondered why he protected them. But deep inside he knew that it was because there is parts of him that are still human. Such as lust, or caring. Every being should still have them traits. That is a part of what the soul is. And everything has a soul. Even inanimate objects. Most people think that only beings have souls. But things like a glass of orange juice, contains a soul as well.
"Well hello there Captain." A voice escaped his lips without turning his head to see the captain. "What brings you to the human world?" He turned and glanced at the figure who had just stepped out of the senkaimon. It was Captain Stelevein, surely enough. "Here for round two?" He said sarcastically, smirking.

Stelevein looked down at Captain Suzuki. He knew that look in his eyes, he knew Suzuki was a bit annoyed and angry at the humans. He also understood why, humans are greedy, self-absorbed, conceded, power hungry beings. He knew he was a bit confused about why he protected them, as was Stelevein. Stelevein knew that deep down inside, he still had human emotions, he knew that even though he never lived but a second as a human, he was human once.
"I didn't come here for round two. Besides we are in the living world, and our Rietsu is too vast, it would crush this town should we fight here. You of all people should know that Captain. Unless of course; your slipping up." Stelevein made his last statement in a joking manner. He knew that Captain Suzuki would also know it was a joke.

The captain chuckled a bit. "I was only joking, Captain. But, I do wonder how well a battle could be carried out, by two captains in the human world." He said, sarcastically once again. He was on a role with his sarcasm.

stelevein nodded to him. He knew he was joking, but even so, stelevein had to say what he did. "I suppose you were, and as for two captain fighting in the living world, I don't think it'd fair too well. But, I guess without our full Rietsu, we might not destroy it. After all, there is a block placed on us once we exit the senkaimon into the living world." Stelevein said laughing a bit as he spoke.

Captain Suzuki looked at Captain Stelevein. "Would you like to give it a shot?" He said smirking a bit. He placed his hand on the handle of his zanpakuto, awaiting his answer. This should be good...

Stelevein grasped the pommel of his Zanpakutou. He thought about it for a second before responding. Stelevein came to his conclusion, if they fought, they would have to keep their rietsu level down even greater then what the block had it placed. And being that they were the two strongest captains, he knew that they would both be able to do this. They were stronger then the captain commander himself, but neither of them wanted to be captain commander, so they never chose to take the position.
"I suppose we could have our second round here. But, we have to keep our rietsu level down even greater then what the block is on us. After all, we are the two strongest captains, even stronger then the captain commander. We never decided to take that position, but why didn't you take the captain commanders position Captain Suzuki?"

Takeo closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He didn't really know why he didn't want to be head captain. He only wanted to be a shinigami to start with, but he was strong enough to even make a captain rank. He didn't like having to have the fate of everyone else on his shoulders. He had enough weight on his shoulders, by having to be captain for his squad.
"Head captain is a big job. I don't know what would happen to the soul society if I was in charge. Being captain is good enough for me. He took his hand off his zanpakuto's handle. He didn't want to lose control so he was going to wait to use his zanpakuto. "Shall we start then?" He said after a moment.

Stelevein nodded in agreement. That was precisely the reason he didn't want to be captain commander. The fact that he chose to be captain at all surprised even him. But, he made a promise to his former captain, he promises him that when his former captain time came, stelevein would step up and become the captain. That is the only reason he became captain.
Stelevein removed his hand from his Zanpakutou. He figured for now, he'd fight using hand-to-hand combat. "That is also the exact reason I chose not to be." He said as he waited for captain suzuki to make the first move.

Captain Suzuki grinned. He was standing in front of captain stelevein for a moment, then in a blink, he was behind him. "Hey there." He said chuckling as he swung his foot near the side of stelevein's hip. He didn't use all of his force, he was just playing for now.
Afterward, he jumped and flipped, making his foot come down, like and ax kick, going straight for his head, attempting to slam his foot into Stelevein's head. He knew that stelevein could most likely block or dodge this so he didn't hesitate to do so. Even so, if stelevein was too busy dodging or blocking his other attack, Stelevein would kind of be screwed.
Takeo flickered, and appeared where he was to begin with, chuckling. If Stelevein had been able to dodge and make it this far, Takeo said, "Still want to go on?" He said with a grin.

Stelevein saw Captain Suzuki appear behind him. Aiming a kick right for Stelevein's side, stelevein blocked it with ease by putting the sheath to his Zanpakutou, that his Zanpakutou was still sheathed in, in front of Takeo's foot.. Only to see an ax kick come down at him, he dodged it with ease by using Shunpo to appear a few feet to the right of the original placement.. That was an impressive maneuver, at least it would have been had Takeo been fighting someone of lower level. Stelevein stood where he had landed after dodging the attack.
Stelevein used shunpo to appear behind Takeo, after that he spoke. "Does this answer your question?" He said as he swung a backward punch at Takeo's face, then jumped and flipped in front of him. Aiming a knee to the gut.

Takeo moved his head to the right, causing Stelevein's punch to go right past him. Due to him being in mid punch at the time, he grabbed his arm. The knee coming up into his gut, had hit and takeo, flew back, still holding on to stelevein's arm, causing him to spin. The force of the spin would cause stelevein to spin also. Using the spin to hsi advantage, he let go of Stelevein's arm, and attempted to kick stelevein in the back, and land on the ground. He winced from the knee hitting his gut, but it wasn't enough damage to cause his fighting style to change. "I guess it does answer my question." He said with a smile on his face. This was all just a playful spar to him.

Stelevein was spinning fast, he knew he had to recover before the kick hit him. But, he was unable to do so, he was kicked in his back and he went flying upward. Stopping a few feet in the air. He gained his balance and stood up, he winced at the pain in his back. It had been awhile since anyone had been able to touch him in battle. He had forgotten what physical pain felt like. But, he would never forget what mental and emotional pain felt like.
Even at this pain he would still be able to fight. After all, he wasn't a captain just for show. He awaited Takeo's next move, paying close attention to Takeo's movements.

Takeo looked up at the captain. "Are you sure you want to go on?" He said smirking. "This could get rough, and I don't want to see, this relationship as friends, become ruined over a simple spar in the Human World." He said with a more serious look. He could see in Stelevein's eyes, that he was getting serious with this. Takeo didn't want to ruin what they had.
